Special Guests are important NPCs that make occasional recurring appearances. They are usually never the faces of locations, and may even be from out of town. These NPCs may be enemies, friends or neutral characters.
Sergeant First Class Alvin Teague is a decorated soldier, stationed at Beale AFB as a joint coordination communication specialist. Teague has a wife, Tiffany, and three children – Patricia, Ronald and George.
Cousin Joe is one of the many “Joes” who are part of the Bettencourt family farm. He is Uncle Frank’s personal driver and acts as a bodyguard when needed. Joe’s nickname “Vasto Rabo” means Vast Posterior and he is often called ‘Joey Bigass’, a name which only family may call him without consequence.
Cabel Callahan was a friend of Slim’s – a wealthy playboy philanthropist entrepreneur. Unfortunately he was killed by a ghost inhabiting the building where Sactown Blues was being renovated. To everyone’s surprise, Cab did not pass on, but has become a friendly ghost hanging out at the record store.
Night Train and his shadow, Lil’Mo had business at Carpe Noctem, and aggressively confronted Dylan and Fee as they were checking out the pristine (if not heavily modified) green 1975 Cadillac Deville Sedan. The pair of thugs were intimidating and used their home-turf advantage to chase off the two investigators. The vanity license plate read 1516233, which in gang cryptography translates to O (15) P (16) B (2) = [Oak Park Bloods] 33 stands for 33rd Street.
Night Train is a warlord of the OPB, and is in charge of the ongoing alliances and rivalries that exist in the immediate area around the sub factions in Oak Park. He has a long rap sheet, and has done hard time for assault and drug trafficking.
Lil’Mo is Night Train’s right hand lieutenant, and the warlord’s shadow. They are usually never seen apart. Lil’Mo is the youngest of seven brothers, and although not the smallest sibling anymore, the name stuck. Lil’Mo has skirted the law so far, being a fairly smart and cautious gang member. He is considered, by association, to belong to the warlord tier in the Oak Park Bloods gang.
Tiffany Teague is the wife of Alvin Teague. She is a stay-at home mother of three, Patricia (8), Ronald (5) and George W (2). Hillary Breun is Tiffany’s widowed mother and practically lives in the Teague home on the base, helping with her grandchildren, who dotingly call her Nana.
Tyrell and Charley both work at the nightclub Carpe Noctem. Tyrell is a friendly bouncer/doorman who takes his job seriously and does it well. Charley is the snarky assistant to Gaston Neahr the club owner. Charley is a wiseass, unless he is in the presence of his boss, when he is very respectful.
Robert Hockenberry is Michael’s uncle. A mechanic by trade, Bobby learned he was a Grimm after his wife Sylvia was killed by a Geier, a species of Wesen. He is an irascible pain in the ass and is difficult to get ahold of, spending his life mostly on the road hunting Wesen and other supernatural creatures. Bobby is savvy and has a wealth of useful knowledge regarding the supernatural.
Albert is one of three identical triplets who work for Gaston Neahr at Carpe Noctem. Albert and his brothers, Alfred and Aldred, provide protection services for Neahr as well as serve as enforcers at the sole bidding of the nightclub owner.
Becky has been working at Carpe Noctem for about six months as a bartender. In late may of 2012 she was given the weekend night shift. She is an excellent bartender, and knows how to keep her customers happy, including remembering their favorite drinks and any smalltalk they may happen to share.
Alex met Marcus at Carpe Noctem. He is a sociable man with a keen sense of humor and a devastating smile. Marcus stated he worked as an Administrative Assistant with Sutter Health/ Sutter Physician Services. He is attending nursing school at UC Davis.
Trunkler is a drifter, rarely staying in place more than a month. He is friendly, and full of good advice, but nothing is free. You see, Trunkler is a changeling, his father being a faerie known as a Portune. Trunkler has been responsible, in a way, for the ‘sweat walker’s’ disease that hit Sactown in late summer of 2012. Trunkler has moved on now, but will likely grace Sacramento with his presence again. Dylan, Alex and Michael rescued him from the clutches of Kurt Calles
Lucy is a feisty, red-haired waitress at Annie Mae’s Cafe. She is a party girl, but does not mind working weekends, overtime or covering shifts. The party is wherever she is, or so she says. Bubbly and outgoing, Lucy was a great find for Annie Mae.
Ricky is Michael’s cousin, on his mother’s side. He was missing for a few days in July of 2012, and it was suspected that he may have been the target of one of Michael’s enemies. As it turned out, Ricky was out of town on a camping trip, and forgot to let his family know.
Callas is a ghoul. He was responsible for killing (and subsequently eating) Brian Turvey, as well as being the one responsible for capturing Trunkler and taking the changeling to his lair. Luckily for Trunkler, he had arranged for his own rescue before the fact. Calles, a true coward, fled his lair when attacked with super-soakers filled with holy water. He may be bearing a grudge.
Trace Maddix is the brutish doorman at Count’s Vamp’d. He barely does his job, and frequently allows minors into the establishment. Katie Kattral is a young alcoholic bartender at Vamp’d. She is an adequate drink slinger, and was hired for her looks, over experience. Both of these employee’s jobs are at risk due to their behavior and lack of attention to the social side of the job.
Outta The Black is the house rock/metal band at Count’s Vamp’d. They religiously perform every Saturday night to packed houses. They are very popular, including having a large following amongst the students at Sac State. They had signed a record deal with The Charnel House, but the deal went sour when several members of the band were arrested for assault and kidnapping of a Federal Agent.
Reginald Park III is Owner/President Charnel House Records. He is involved with the Park Family of Minneapolis, the head of whom is none other than Prince, the musician. Daniel is half-brother to Marcus Pryde and twice as charming. His nice-guy exterior is sometimes betrayed by his player attitude, but all in all he is liked by most who know him. Recently he has been dating Alex’s sister, Raven.
Kytten Fox is Spike Park’s girlfriend, and a student at Sac State. She is even more obnoxious than Spike, if that is possible. Her current favorite expression is “Talk to the Hand” and she has contempt for pretty much everyone, save Spike. She is a White Court virgin, and remains so only out of spite and her contrary nature.
Stan “THEMAN” Graff is a self-acclaimed Odiomancer, spreading his unpopularity and antipathy wherever he goes. He attends classes at Sac State, and is quite annoying as humans go. He has somehow infiltrated the inner circle of Spike Park, and is even dating the vampire’s sister, Britt.
